Plant Volatiles Modulate the Cellular Immunity of Spodoptera litura (IMAGE)
Caption
Plants emit a specific blend of volatiles in response to herbivory and this volatiles, which often attract parasitoids function as an indirect plant defence. We report that specific plant volatiles can be perceived by herbivore leading to an up-regulated cellular immune status which can increase their survival against their natural enemies.
