After 35 days, mesenchymal stem cells seeded on woven collagen biotextile have differentiated into tendon cells and populated the scaffold. Cell are elongated and run the same direction as the collagen fibers, as indicated by the green fluorescent actin fibers of cells. The differentiation is attained without growth factors, solely by the topographical cues provided by the biotextile.
