Steven N. Austad, Ph.D., will be one of the speakers in a series of three lectures for the public on the science of aging at the MDI Biological Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine. The topic of his lecture will be "Living to be 150: How Soon? How Desirable?" The lectures are part of the laboratory's new signature course on aging, "Comparative and Experimental Approaches to Aging Biology Research." The other public lectures will be delivered by Malene Hansen, Ph.D., and Richard I. Morimoto, Ph.D.
