Dr. Luis Parada (second from right), director of the Center for Developmental Biology, led a research team that studied genetically mutated mice that show deficits in social interaction that are reminiscent of humans with autism spectrum disorders. Others involved included (from left) Dr. Craig Powell, assistant professor of neurology and psychiatry; Jing Zhou, student research assistant; and Dr. Chang-Hyuk Kwon, postdoctoral researcher.
