Time-lapse of an exemplary oocyte labeling both cytoplasm (bright area) and yolk granules (dark area) during the first four cleavage cycles and imaged by confocal microscopy. As the zebrafish egg cell starts to divide, cytoplasm and yolk granules are segregated.
