Kinesin-5 Structure, Cell Division and Cancer (VIDEO)

Kinesin-5 plays a crucial role in cell division by allow microfilaments to slide past each other. The kinesin-5 structure shows a central rod connecting two motor units that walk along microfilaments in opposite directions. The structure shows how this protein works, and reveals possible sites for new cancer drugs to attack.
