The Santa Lucia Mountains slender salamander, Batrachoseps luciae (pictured) is one of the species that SF State researchers will study in a new National Science Foundation-funded project that will explore the relationship between amphibian social behavior and a deadly fungus called Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd).
