A Donald W. Reynolds Foundation grant is expanding geriatric training in the medical school curriculum. Dr. Craig Rubin (right) is principal investigator of the Southwestern Aging and Geriatrics Education (SAGE) program, which will improve the geriatric knowledge, skills and attitudes of physician trainees, as well as enhance the ability of the faculty to teach geriatrics. The program, allowing for specialized content to be integrated into all four years of the medical student curriculum. is co-directed by Drs. Lynne Kirk (left) Amit Shah.
