Relevance of Hepatitis B Core-Related Antigen in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients

In patients with hepatitis B infections, a biomarker that can help to monitor disease status and progression is the need of the hour. A new CMJ study shows that a protein called “hepatitis B core-related antigen” reflects viral load and response to treatment in patients with chronic hepatitis B.
