The movie shows the assembly and formation of SARS-CoV-2 from its constituent parts. The movie illustrates one of the structural proteins of SARS-CoV-2 (N proteins shown in red and black) interacting with viral RNA (blue) forming several small clusters. Simultaneously, the complex of N proteins-RNA interacts with another viral structural protein (M proteins shown in blue, purple and white) embedded in the lipid membrane. Thus, as RNA condenses by N proteins, it buds simultaneously through the intercellular membrane acquiring its greasy coat.
