Halide Perovskite Material Exhibits Liquid-Like Atomic Vibrations (IMAGE)
Caption
The atomic structure in an inorganic perovskite. Bromine atoms (red) at the corners act as “hinges” that allow the structure to flex. This inhibits the electrons from recombining and may enhance the efficiency of these materials for solar applications.
