Uphill granular flow of microrobotic microrollers (VIDEO)
Caption
In their work on microrobotic microrollers, researchers in Lehigh University's Laboratory of Particle Mixing and Self-Organization showed that the negative angle of repose (uphill flow) results from a "negative coefficient of friction" when modeled with classic granular flow equations.
