Some social actors during the Pope's 2015 trip to Cuba were more likely to be depicted than others. In Cuba's markedly hierarchical society, for example, dissidents, activists, and protesters weren't shown at all while AP and Reuters photographed and published such images, including this one by AP photographer Ramon Espinosa, who photographed plainclothes Cuban security agents detaining protesters at one of the Pope's public masses.
