Saturn's Interior (image) University of California - Berkeley Share Print E-Mail Caption Saturn's interior is mainly composed of three layers: a deep inner core made mostly of heavy elements, with a liquid metallic hydrogen envelope, surrounded by a molecular hydrogen layer.
