This video is a 3D volume-rendering of the MRI sequence used for assessment of vessel wall permeability (3D dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI) in the femoral arteries of the atherosclerotic pigs before and after treatment with the nanoimmunotherapy. 2 different color tables are used: NIH and Muscle-Bone. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Aug. 21, 2019, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by T. Binderup at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY; and colleagues was titled, "Imaging-assisted nanoimmunotherapy for atherosclerosis in multiple species."
