The PACT bottom unit was deployed at 3100 meter depth in 2km horizontal distance from the MARUM-operated permanent fixture. The PACT surface unit, receiving, storing and transmitting acoustic telegrams, is attached to the MARUM fixture at approximately 10m depth.
