The enzyme AMPK was tagged with a glowing protein and starts off distributed throughout the whole cell. The cell's mitochondria, where energy is made, are outfitted with invisible docking stations. When the chemical iRap is added, it "summons" all of the AMPK to the docking stations on the mitochondria.
