Corning Life Sciences to showcase expanded portfolio of advanced 3D cell culture innovations

New solutions shared at SLAS 2020 support spheroid and organoid culture models and cell therapy research

Corning will highlight its enhanced 3D cell culture portfolio, including Corning® Elplasia® plates featuring microcavity technology for spheroid production, and Matrigel® matrix for organoid culture.

In addition, the company will exhibit the Corning® MicroDEN® Perfusion-based Dendritic Cell Culture Platform system, an automated system that streamlines dendritic cell generation for cell and gene therapy applications. Notably, Corning Elplasia plates have been nominated for the Select Science Scientists' Choice Awards for Best New Drug Discovery & Development Product of 2019.

Corning experts will be onsite to demonstrate how these tools address advancements in 3D cell culture and cell therapy research. Applications for these tools include drug screening, cancer and tumor biology, stem cell biology, 3D tissue engineering, immunology, and immuno-oncology.
