This is an orthorectified Formosat-2 image obtained by the National Space Organization (NSPO), Taiwan and processed by the Disaster Prevention Research Center, NCKU, Taiwan and by Colin P. Stark. This image relates to an article that appeared in the March 19, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. C.P. Stark of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University in Palisades, N.Y., and colleagues, was titled, "The Climatic Signature of Incised River Meanders." view more
