Long-Term Olive Oil Consumption And Coronary Mortality

Peer-Reviewed Publication

American Journal of Clinical Nutrition

Healthy men who used olive oil instead of saturated fats for eight weeks had increased triglyceride but lower LDL-cholesterol and clotting factor VII. The long-term significance in relation to decreased coronary mortality remains to be established.
