Biodiversity and Your Food: Monday, September 28 The environmental impact of food production, packaging, and consumption will be discussed. Panelists Peter Hoffman, member of the Chefs Collaborative 2000 and chef/owner of the Savoy Restaurant, Merry Camhi, staff scientist, National Audubon Society's Living Oceans Program, and Betsy Lydon, Program Director, Mothers & Others for a Livable Planet, and consumer representative, National Organic Standards Board Program, will explain what to avoid on the menu, what "organic food" really means, and how to reuse and recycle your food packaging.
