Invitation To Cover: American Society Of Gene Therapy Meeting

What:American Society of Gene Therapy 2nd Annual Meeting. The latest developments in gene therapies will be presented, including those for AIDS, cardiovascular disease, cancer, cystic fibrosis and other genetic disorders, and neuromuscular diseases. Among the key researchers giving talks are W. French Anderson, Ronald Crystal, Peter Doherty, Judah Folkman, Robert Gallo, Jeffrey Isner, Inder Verma, Savio Woo, and James Wilson, current ASGT president. NIH director Harold Varmus will deliver the keynote lecture, "Gene Therapy and NIH." Also offered will be "Meet the Investigator Breakfasts" and "The Basics of Gene Therapy" educational programs.
