European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology

New findings in the controversial research field of reproductive medicine will be presented to 4,000 leading fertility experts at the annual international conference of the European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology (ESHRE).

Presentations include:

  • advances in preimplantation diagnosis: new ways to prevent illness
  • surprising new results about possible causes of cancer of the womb
  • how a certain infertility condition may predict an early menopause
  • new concerns about the use of some types of HRT in women with breast cancer
  • a novel keyhole technique for surgery of the womb

  • new findings on paternal mitochondrial DNA
  • how a mouse might become a 'nursery' for human ovarian tissue
  • good news for women who have problems conceiving a second child
  • what is the 'gold standard' treatment in cases of unexplained infertility

These are just a few examples of the stories from the conference.
