Colgate-Palmolive selects Mayo Clinic health management resources

Colgate’s U.S. employees and their families will receive two key health management tools -- MayoClinic.com and Mayo Clinic HealthQuest newsletter.

http://MayoClinic.com is a customized online health management site that employees and their families can use to plan and live healthy lifestyles, research medical information and learn about self-care. Services include extensive activity-based and lifestyle-based tools, as well as resources to help employees make informed decisions about personal health issues and chronic medical conditions. The site is customized to address specific health management goals for the employee population and can be personalized by the employee based on individual health objectives or concerns.

Mayo Clinic HealthQuest newsletter covers health-related workplace issues, illness prevention, coping with family matters, maintaining a proper diet and exercise program. Each issue brings self-help advice, recommendations about when to see a health care professional and how to use the health care system more efficiently.

A MayoClinic.com usage report package will provide Colgate with data on health risks, site usage and program impact over time. Reports identify the top health interests and usage patterns within the employee population, as well as the impact of integrating activities that cross-promote other health initiatives within the organization.
