Within this partnership, SIOC and Wiley-VCH will be joint owners, and SIOC will continue to provide its editorial expertise for the journal, which is administrated by the Chinese Chemical Society. In turn, Wiley-VCH will bring its publishing expertise and be responsible for marketing and distributing the Chinese Journal of Chemistry all over the world, apart from in mainland China. This also includes online publication via Wiley InterScience (http://www.interscience.wiley.com).

Founded in 1983 under the name Acta Chimica Sinica English Edition and renamed in 1990 as the Chinese Journal of Chemistry, the journal covers all fields of chemistry, primarily in the form of original research papers.
