The AUA Health Science Award is given each year to one company that best supports the AUA's mission throughout the year – to promote the highest standards of urological clinical care through education (including continuing medical education, or CME), research and in the formulation of health-care policy. Many AUA activities are made possible through educational grants from companies such as Novartis. The recipient is selected by the AUA Awards Committee, which is comprised of AUA senior leadership.
