The American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology's Annual Meeting has been selected by Tradeshow Week, a respected weekly industry magazine, as one of the 50 fastest growing tradeshows in the United States and Canada. This is the third time in four years that ASTRO's meeting has received this honor. ASTRO was the only health-related tradeshow recognized this year.
ASTRO has enjoyed consistent increases in the number of exhibitors and the exhibit hall space at its Annual Meeting in the past three years. In Salt Lake City, in 2003, ASTRO had 232 exhibitors in 96,000 net square feet. Since then, the number of exhibitors and the exhibit space has grown to 244 exhibitors and 101,200 net square feet in Atlanta for 2004 and 258 exhibitors and 108,900 net square feet in Denver for 2005. With the 2006 Annual Meeting scheduled November 5-9 in Philadelphia, ASTRO is expected to again surpass the previous years' in overall growth.

ASTRO will be formally recognized by Tradeshow Week at an awards ceremony this November in Boston.
