Springer signs publishing agreement with Groupe des Ecoles des Télécommunications

Annals of Telecommunications will appear in English only from 2008

Business Announcement

Springer

The Annales des Télécommunications/Annals of Telecommunications was founded in 1945 to support the formidable development perspectives in the field of telecommunications. During the past 60 years, it has published key articles in French and English by authors from all over the world. Under Springer, the journal will publish in English only with a new electronic format.

“This publishing partnership between GET and Springer for the Annals of Telecommunications makes sense for both parties,” said Guido Zosimo-Landolfo, Managing Director of Springer France. “We share similar views not only on science and technology publishing, but also on the standards of excellence required for our work in disseminating knowledge.”

“Partnering with Springer is a new and very promising step in the history of the Annals of Telecommunications. It will extend its reach both in terms of international audience and availability in an electronic format,” added Dr. Claude Guéguen, chairman of the editorial committee responsible for the publishing history of the journal.

Springer will publish the Annals of Telecommunications bimonthly, in print and electronically on Springer’s online platform www.springerlink.com. In addition, all authors, via the Springer Open Choice™ program, have the option of publishing their articles using the open access publishing model.
