Springer has signed an agreement with the Psychonomic Society for publication of their complete portfolio of journals: Cognitive, Affective & Behavioral Neuroscience; Behavior Research Methods; Psychonomic Bulletin & Review; Memory & Cognition; Attention, Perception & Psychophysics; and Learning & Behavior. The six journals, to be published by Springer as of January 2011, will add approximately 500 articles of top-quality content to Springer's online platform, SpringerLink, each year.

The Psychonomic Society retains complete editorial control over the content of the journals, which will be published by Springer online and in print. Features will include Cross Reference Linking, Issue Alert services and rapid, article-based electronic publication in Online First™.

Welmoed Spahr, Senior Editor, Behavioral Sciences at Springer, said, "Springer is delighted to be partnering with the Psychonomic Society. These six top journals in the field of psychological science are a great addition to Springer's existing psychology program and SpringerLink will increase online access to their high-value content worldwide. We look forward to a fruitful partnership and to supporting the Psychonomic Society in their mission in the years to come."

Stephen Lindsay, Publications Committee Chair for the Psychonomic Society, said, "Springer's extraordinary capabilities will enhance the Psychonomic Society journals in numerous ways. Springer's great strengths in international marketing and distribution will put our journals into more libraries and on more computer screens worldwide. More readers mean more impact, which in turn increases the journals' attractiveness to authors. With Springer, we anticipate a cycle of growth and development in the Psychonomic Society journals."
