How to do business in China will be the focus of an all-day conference, open to the public and hosted by the North American Chinese Entrepreneur Association, NJIT's Enterprise Development Center (EDC) and the NJIT Chinese Student Association on June 8, 2013. The annual conference, titled "Entrepreneurship and Growth During the Economic Recovery," is a wonderful opportunity for anyone wanting to hear a full day of what works and what doesn't work as a dozen experts detail how entrepreneurs can take advantage of the opportunities created by a recovering global economy.

The conference, set for 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., will be held in NJIT's Campus Center and feature multiple sessions covering the business cycle, from start-up capitalization and business plan organization to managing the growth of a business via tax planning, and expanding via cross-border investment and international trade. Judith Sheft, associate vice president of technology development at NJIT, will welcome participants.

"This is an excellent opportunity for Chinese companies to learn about the EDC and its international soft landings program. I also encourage all small and medium-sized life sciences companies to attend. It's a great way to make connections and expand into the Chinese market." The cost, which includes breakfast and lunch, is $30. To register, please visit:
