The award presentation will take place at GSA's 67th Annual Scientific Meeting, which will be held from November 5 to 9 in Washington, DC. This conference is organized to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, educators, and practitioners who specialize in the study of the aging process. She has been a founding member and early president of the Section on Geriatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association; a national and international provider of entry-level and post-professional education courses concerned with geriatric neurology, orthopedics and rehabilitation; and a productive author and editor of professional textbooks, journals and articles concerned with advocacy for and rehabilitation of older adults.
