"CHEST will remain a leading publication designed to aid clinicians in providing the best patient care possible."
Dr. Irwin, said, "Our publishing agreement with Elsevier will allow CHEST to remain competitive, will help us to distribute research papers to a larger audience, and will allow us to better attract higher profile clinical research from around the world. We anticipate many enhancements to the journal which will benefit our authors, members, and readers."
"Elsevier leadership shares this excitement and is honored to have been chosen by CHEST to help grow the journal from its already strong foundation of quality content and global recognition of its importance in the specialty," commented Pamela Poppalardo, Publishing Director, Health and Medical Sciences Journals at Elsevier.
