Oncology Central, Future Science Group's key online resource for the oncology community, today announced that they will be supporting World Cancer Research Fund this month by donating £1 to the charity for every new member of Oncology Central.

Designed to unite all aspects of oncology and support progression in this fast-moving field, Oncology Central is delighted to spend the duration of August highlighting and supporting the work of World Cancer Research Fund, as they continue to champion the latest and most authoritative cancer prevention research from around the world pertaining to diet, weight and physical activity.

As we continue to gather leading experts from different disciplines across cancer to address questions in the light of current knowledge and novel results from research taking place globally, we want to support the charity in helping all individuals make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.

Future Science Group's Managing Director Phil Garner said: "Given our focus on providing high-quality information to oncology professionals, we are also strongly in support of World Cancer Research Fund's mission to provide the information people need to make informed lifestyle choices and reduce their cancer risk,"

"We are pleased to both raise awareness of World Cancer Research Fund as the world's leading authority on the link between diet, weight, physical activity and cancer, and donate on behalf of every new Oncology Central member."
