The Annual Conference of the International Society for Intelligence Research (ISIR) in St Petersburg, Russia, July 15 -17, 2016.
You must not miss the 2016 ISIR Annual Conference in Saint Petersburg for the following reasons:
First: 2016 ISIR Annual Conference will be an event of widespread exchange of latest scientific results across all aspects of intelligence research. The ISIR is the focal scientific society for the world's researchers on human intelligence. All ISIR members registering by 15 May 2016, will receive a discount for the conference registration, supported by the Russian Science Foundation: $100 for Student Members and $250 for Regular Members. This reduced registration rate also includes the conference banquet.
Second: The conference will be preceded by the International Summer School for students and early career researchers: Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Study of Intelligence (July 12-14, 3 days of lectures, seminars and workshops). This summer school is funded by the Russian Science Foundation to promote this important topic among the scientific community, and to provide support and training to early career researchers. More information will be on the site shortly.
Third: July is a wonderful time to visit St Petersburg, one of the most beautiful cities in the world - the museum under the open sky, the cultural capital of Russia. In addition to the fantastic scientific programme that is planned for the ISIR, we are planning a cultural programme, including the conference banquet on a boat, cruising the Neva river during the opening of the bridges and a joint networking event for the participants of the International Summer School and the ISIR conference. The event will take place on July 14 in Peterhof - a magnificent complex of fountains, parks and palaces on the Gulf of Finland - taking a 30 minute fast boat there from the Hermitage Embankment.
