Business Announcement

Oxford University Press USA

Oxford University Press (OUP) and the Royal Society of Chemistry are pleased to announce the transfer of the journal Integrative Biology from the Royal Society of Chemistry to OUP.

Integrative Biology, currently in its 10th volume, is a multi- and inter-disciplinary journal for research using experimental or computational quantitative technologies to characterize biological systems at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and population levels. The journal will join OUP's science portfolio starting with the 2019 volume.

Professor Doug Lauffenburger, editor-in-chief of Integrative Biology, said "My editorial board colleagues and I are very pleased by the unique inter-disciplinary bioscience community this journal has established over the past years with Royal Society of Chemistry, and we are tremendously excited about the opportunity for further increasing the influence of our contributions now in the future with OUP."

"We are thrilled to bring Integrative Biology into our science portfolio," said Deborah Dixon, editorial director at OUP. "The journal's reputation for high quality interdisciplinary research makes it an excellent fit with our existing titles, and we are looking forward to working with Professor Lauffenburger to build on this success for the future."
