Monitoring stress response in rats

Researchers report that a flexible electrode, implanted in the rat adrenal gland, could measure the activity of the adrenal system in real time, providing a potential method for continuous monitoring of acute and chronic stress responses in the context of diagnosis and treatment of stress disorders.
