Noninvasive preimplantation blastocyst testing

Peer-Reviewed Publication

Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences

A study finds that a noninvasive preimplantation genetic test of cell-free DNA in the culture media of 52 human in vitro fertilization blastocysts did not produce false negatives for aneuploidy, was less prone to errors caused by potential mosaicism in the blastocyst, and was a more reliable test than the current testing method, trophectoderm biopsy.
