Making technology more gender-inclusive

Dr. Simone Stumpf will lead a webinar on the GenderMag method in collaboration with Oregon State University

Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Human-Computer Interaction Design within the School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering (SMCSE), at City, Dr Simone Stumpf, will lead an interactive webinar, "Making technology gender-inclusive through GenderMag", on Wednesday, 13th May, from 2-4pm (BST).

Dr Stumpf's work, in collaboration with Oregon State University, led to the development of the GenderMag method, which is now used by companies around the world to tackle issues in technology.

Participants will learn: The scale of the gender-inclusion problem; Motivations and benefits for focusing on gender-inclusion; The state-of-the-art on gender; How to apply the GenderMag method to identify and fix gender-inclusion issues; and, How to embed GenderMag in organisations.
