Schrum, Otis and Sleeter receive funding for World History Commons

Kelly Schrum, Associate Professor, Higher Education Program, Jessica M. Otis, Assistant Professor of History and the Director of Public Projects at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media (RRCHNM), and Nate Sleeter, Research Assistant Professor, RRCHNM, are set to receive $150,000 from the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) for World History Commons (https://worldhistorycommons.org).

World History Commons is a free digital resource with high quality, peer-reviewed content in world and global history for teachers, scholars, and students. The ACLS digital extension grant will fund doctoral students and early-career researchers working on cutting-edge world history scholarship to write scholarly essays, contribute to a world history Open Educational Resource (OER), learn about digital humanities, and develop new professional skills.

Funding for this award will begin in December 2020 and will end in June 2022.
