The International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) 2021 Annual Meeting - the organization's 20th - will virtually bring together a global, multidisciplinary group of researchers, clinicians and students presenting their latest research. Anyone interested in autism research is welcome to attend. The meeting will be held Monday, May 3 through Friday, May 7, 2021 with registrants having access to on- demand content until June 7. The INSAR Annual Meeting is the world's largest gathering of scientists and specialists as they exchange and disseminate the latest scientific discoveries and stimulate progress into the nature, causes, and treatments and supports for autism spectrum disorder. INSAR 2021 will be the 20th Anniversary of the first annual meeting of INSAR. The first Annual Meeting, then named IMFAR (International Meeting for Autism Research), was held in San Diego, CA on November 9 & 10, 2001.
The 20th INSAR Annual Meeting will include virtual presentations of oral papers and posters, and panel sessions. Recipients of the INSAR Advocate Award, INSAR Cultural Diversity Research Award, and INSAR Lifetime Achievement Award will also be announced. More than 1,300 abstracts with authors from over 30 countries have been accepted for virtual Panel, Oral and Poster presentation.
A virtual press conference will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 12:00 PM EST that will focus on highlighted notable research.
