Advancing manufacture of cell and gene therapies webinar

An ECI webinar on July 21, 2021

Engineering Conferences International

Scientific Meeting Announcement

The webinar, which will be held on July 21, will feature a keynote presentation by Greg Russotti followed by interactive panel sessions on the future perspectives for digitized manufacturing and real-time release and an open debate on the application of viral versus non-viral gene delivery technologies.

Panel Session: "Future perspectives for digitized manufacturing and real-time release"

With increasingly complex products requiring new techniques, our panelists will discuss their unique perspectives into manufacturing, monitoring, and analytics for product release. Our moderator, Greg Russotti, will prompt a discussion around the singularities and commonalities for autologous versus allogeneic products. Join the panel to learn more about these topics and the respective sessions that will take place in-person, in February 2022.

Debate Session: "The Future of Gene Therapy: Viral or Non-viral"

The debate will engage webinar participants in a spirited discussion of the future of gene therapies, comparing and contrasting the advantages and drawbacks of viral and non-viral gene editing strategies, including safety, efficiency, and manufacturing considerations. Debaters will provide a short overview of their point of view then address questions from the audience and moderator. The concepts raised in the debate will provide webinar participants with an understanding of the state-of-the-art and current challenges in gene therapy, setting the stage for the Gene Therapy sessions for the in person workshop in February 2022.

The webinar will take place on July 21, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT.
