Researchers from Mass General Brigham and the Mass General Brigham Gene and Cell Therapy Institute – a hub of innovation dedicated to accelerating groundbreaking research, conducting clinical trials and developing FDA-approved treatments in gene and cell therapy – will present new data at the 2025 American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (ASGCT) Annual Meeting, taking place May 13-17 in New Orleans.
The German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina is again participating in this year’s science-based advisory process in advance of the G7 summit. For many years, the G7 countries’ science academies have been involved in the summits’ Science 7 process. Before the heads of state and government meet at the summit, the academies have presented their recommendations as part of the Science 7 Summit, which took place in Ottawa on 7 and 8 May. To Leopoldina President Bettina Rockenbach, attending the summit in Ottawa was her first foreign trip in her current role.
