The HLEC display can undergo many deformation modes, including stretching, rolling, folding, and wrapping. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the March 4, 2016, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by C. Larson at Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., and colleagues was titled, "Highly stretchable electroluminescent skin for optical signaling and tactile sensing."
