Marine Sgt. Michael Steele monitors virtual scenarios from the control room of the Gruntworks Research for Infantry Integration Testing during a public open house at the Stafford, Va., facility. GRIIT provides a realistic environment for simulating, testing and optimizing the Marine's equipment and employs 21 cameras that utilize ONR-developed Video Flashlight technology to record all of the action and to replay scenarios as a virtual display.
