東北大学電気通信研究所の栗木一郎准教授と、理化学研究所脳科学総合研究センター(埼玉県和光市)の研究グループは、人間の脳内で中間色に反応する神経細胞が存在する事を fMRIによる脳活動計測を用いて明らかにする事に成功しました。
本研究は、映像情報ディスプレイやプロジェクタの多原色化・高ダイナミックレンジ化において、人間に適した原色の選択や多階調化の指針に影響を与える成果であると考えられます。
この研究成果は2015年9月30日午後5:00(英国時間午前9:00)に、脳科学研究に関する国際的論文誌「Cerebral Cortex 」(電子版)に掲載されました。
