A faster, more efficient imaging system for nanoparticles

Miao Liu, Ph.D. student in energy and materials science supervised by Professors Jinyang Liang and Fiorenzo Vetrone has worked on a new technique developed at INRS that pushes back some of the limits of the infrared imaging of rare-earth doped nanoparticles. She is the study’s first author of a groundbreaking discovery, which was published in the journal Advanced Science.
