TROPOS analyses various components of the atmosphere in Melpitz: trace gases, physical and chemical properties of aerosols (online), classic filter samples (offline) of particulate matter in the PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 size classes and solar radiation. A hall is also available for special measurement campaigns, which can be used for in-situ measurements by tethered balloon.
