Two-dimensional identifcation plot of ΔE versus TOF for the ions in the secondary beam.

The horizontal axis represents the time diference between scintillators T1 and T2, while the vertical axis corresponds to the energy loss in the SDΔE2 detector. An additional coincidence gating condition based on the energy loss in the QSDΔE1 detector is applied to enhance the identification.
