A ScxTomato transgenic mouse was crossed with a Sox9EGFP knock-in mouse to obtain ScxTomato;Sox9EGFP reporter mice with a C57BL/6 background. The ScxTomato;Sox9EGFP reporter mouse was crossed with a wild-type C57BL/6 or ICR mouse to obtain ScxTomato, ScxTomato;Sox9EGFP, and Sox9EGFP reporter embryos.
