Chikungunya and other mosquito-borne viruses

Chikungunya virus is one of several viruses spread by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitos. Like Chikungunya virus, pathogens such as dengue virus and Zika virus continue to spread as climate change leaves more regions warmer and more habitable for these mosquito species.
